Steps
- Pour a half cup of water in the bottom of your slow cooker
- Place something on the bottom of the slow cooker so that the chicken will not be flat on the bottom surface. My slow cooker came with a metal grill that works well for me. Some sites have suggested that a tin foil ring can accomplish the same thing.
- Optional: some instructions include applying non-stick spray. I haven't had to.
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker
- Measure all seasoning into a small bowl and mix well.
- Sprinkle the mixed seasonings all over the top of the chicken, only
- 5 pound chicken fully cooks on Hi in 4 hours or on Lo for 6 hours.
- Always check the internal temp has reached 165°F / 74°C

- 1/2 tsp onion powder
